I've been exploring our place in nature for some time, both in my artwork and in my thoughts. It's strange that we often think of ourselves as somehow separate from our ecosystem ( I'm guilty of it too ), and all-too-often destroy what sustains us.
I love the idea of combining images of human anatomy, plants, animals, and in this case insects and fungi all as different parts of a larger whole. We may think that we're somehow "above" nature, but it's where we come from and where we will return.
